For Nominated Musicians
Every year we invite high-school musicians to campus for a weekend inside the C-N music family. You self nominate or the school director nominates you — then you audition-rank, rehearse, and perform with us.
The Carson-Newman Honor Band brings together outstanding high school musicians from across the region for a weekend of intensive rehearsal and a culminating concert on Carson-Newman's campus. Working with C-N faculty and guest conductors, participants dig into challenging wind band literature and experience a wonderful weekend of music-making.

The Carson-Newman Honor Choir gathers talented singers from area schools for a weekend of focused rehearsal, artistry, and choral community. Guided by C-N's choral faculty, students prepare and perform meaningful repertoire while experiencing the high-caliber music-making that defines the Carson-Newman choral program.
